History of Plaza Bakery
Plaza Bakery has been in business for more than 50 years. Owned by Mr. David Freeman, recently retired, and his son, Michael Freeman, Plaza Bakery became a family tradition many years ago. D. Freeman began working at Naa's Bakery,
owned for several decades by his uncle Marvin Harless, after he graduated from college in 1957. They then opened the Village Pastry Shop in Aragona Village Shopping Center in 1958. Plaza Bakery was born in the early '60s when the Village Pastry Shop moved to the Princess Anne Plaza Shopping Center and became Plaza Bakery.
Everything at Plaza Bakery is made from scratch using natural ingredients.
Goodies include: Old fashioned pies, cookies, brownies, doughnuts, Petit fours, Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes, Breads (rolls and loaves), and miscellaneous pastries.
